The Region

Halifax County is located in south-central Virginia, with its southern border being the state line with North Carolina. It is a beautiful part of rural Virginia. South Boston is the largest town in the county, and it is very well-served commercially. The town of Halifax serves as county seat. The gravel road that runs through the neighborhood is a dead end road, so the only traffic would appear to be local residents. The neighborhood is located in the extreme southeast corner of Halifax County, very close to the border with North Carolina.
