Coffee County has been in existenve since 1854, is named after General John E. Coffee, who was a state legislator and U.S representative. It has an abundance of wiregrass – which grow among the Georgia pines in this part of south-central GA. It is still a mostly rural county, with most of the surrounding commerce being agricultural.

The Neighborhood

The neighborhood that this property is in is located toward the extreme north of Coffee County. Therefore, it isn’t very far from destinations in neighboring Telfair county, for example, McRae-Helena. The neighborhood itself is small, rural and quiet – with dirt road frontage throughout mostly. There are some nice homes nearby, but most of the surrounding lots are still vacant and rural.
